We've Spruced Up!
The Motel sits on a little over four acres at the base of a pine covered hill just l/2 mile east of the borough of Indiana. Such a setting was common and attractive to America's early travelers who would traverse many miles by wagon, on horseback or on foot to do trade in a town center.
The earliest information shows the motel once consisted of 26 small cabins. Cabin accommodations called "cabin courts" or "cabin camps" were commonly located along business area roadways forming the earliest "motels." Two of the cabins in their original form have insulbrick covering and are used for storage. Two others have been remodeled. Peeking through in several areas of the property are the stone pathways which had connected the earlier cabins.
Over the decades the motel has been expanded and remodeled. Our amenities include ceramic tiled bathrooms, cable TV with HBO and wireless internet is also available in some rooms.
If your own path is leading you here, check out our menu above to learn more, and come visit us. We trust you will find comfortable accommodations at an exceptionally good value, which have stood the test of time.
Our management and staff bids you, rest well, safe passage, and we are especially delighted when you return again.
